My comments on tutoring Writing : I tested out of College Writing. I have extensive experience teaching writing starting with properly written sentences, to cohesive paragraphs, to organized, well crafted essays and reports.

I homeschooled my three daughters for 10 years, right through high school. All three have gone on to Colllege and have excelled, making the Dean's list. Student centered instruction is the approach I use in my instruction. That means that the student's needs and learning style direct the way the information will be delivered and activities that will guide the learning. Students learn best by doing, so I only lecture for small amounts of time.
