My job as an educator is to teach them how to learn it and make them want to learn it. I personally do not believe that negative reinforcement is beneficial. Throughout my life I have been tutoring and teaching my peers. In elementary through high school, teachers would ask me to take time to explain one-on-one the coursework with my classmates. In college I naturally became the go-to person for help with coursework. My official experience, however, did not come until I was in graduate school.
