Nursing Exam is one of my top subjects! I am a registered nurse and hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing, graduating cum laude with a GPA of 3.69. I have worked in adult and pediatric medical- surgical, oncology and hospice areas. I can tutor students working toward nursing associate degrees and bachelor degrees. I love being able to help someone reach that 'light bulb' moment of understanding a concept. Making a connection for the learner is imperative. I have a collaborative, interactive style. I tend to use visuals to help illustrate the point. I ask questions to make sure my analogies and metaphors are meaningful and help the learner. I find it useful to aid textbook material with a description of a process, a way of committing something to memory, or descpriton of how to grasp a concept as akin to a common experience/moment we have all had.
