My teaching style all depends on the subject and the student. Everyone learns differently. Unfortunately, the public school system seems to disagree with that. I begin by assessing the type of learner you are and from there I pick my teaching style.
I have experience in and outside of the classroom in all of the fields I listed. From a 4.0 G.P.A to sales office growth I have learned a lot and am eager to share my experience in order to help others. English is and will always be my favorite subject. I find that teaching works best if you tailor the material to your audience - i.e. you don't want to lose them OR bore them. Use what they know as a foundation to build on to teach new concepts. If material is difficult or unfamiliar to your class it's important to be prepared in advance with several approaches to get the material across. Review material periodically to reinforce confidence in the students and always make sure they have a firm grasp on material before moving on.

My method is to reach students exactly where there at and use methods that would stimulate all types of learners . Once I was teaching a group of sixth graders who would be entering Algebra soon. I gave them a true life math example. Our equasion; a party with the number of students, quantity of different items and costs. When we devided the items their costs with the number of students we came up with how much each student had to pitch in. In this example I had some items that were to be used and they were able to touch them. I also told them very clearly what was going on while I was writing it all down.
