I am a graduate of SDSU and a mother of two children. One graduate and one in highschool. I have volunteered many hours in elementary and middle school classrooms. I have helped our children and others with various classes and I am committed to helping each child learn and grow to their highest potential. A Little Bit About Me...

I try to present a concept or fact in several different ways so that I can resonate with the students thinking style. I have been told that I am a very good communicator and educator and can make concepts that seem complicated look much simpler and more comprehendible. If you've ever looked at the Khan Academy website, were Sal Khan makes little You Tube videos on all sorts of math and science topics, you will see a very similar method to how I educate .

I worked at a daycare for 2 years working with a 2 year old class, then worked as a preschool teacher for another year and a half. A Little Bit About Me...

While I was attending college, I was a tutor for the following classes: Accounting, Finance, and Algebra. I am an excellent student and have a full knowledge of accounting and math that can be applied in the classroom as well as a "real world" experience. In addition to supervising and training other employees within my employers accounting department, I have also had the privilege of being in charge of staffing an intern who complimented me frequently on my competence and ability to instruct in a professional manner that was easily understood and easy to follow. I have become very familiar with the differentiated instruction model of teaching students. Each child has an individual way of learning and it is up to the teacher to discover that way and lead or drive instruction with that in mind. I am willing to test and analize each child and see what is best for them as far as learning to read. If a child likes what they are doing they will do it more. I usually am very curious as to why a child hates to read or do math.
