Over the past year, I served as an Americorps volunteer in an inner city charter school with an emphasis on character education. This particular position interests me because I struggled with math through middle school and understand the frustration it can create for a student. Mathematics is now my strongest subject and I chose the profession of accounting to utilize those strengths.
