Math teachers are notorious for being vague or teaching solely from text. I believe understanding mathematics does not necessarily make you fit to teach it. I have had great success adapting to a student's language and using analogies to make math come to life. It's a fact that no human likes an activity if they are not good at it, attitude is half the battle; if I can help my student to get better at math, I know they will stop disliking the subject and thereby learn more. A Little Bit About Me...

Have been teaching and tutoring all my life! I have been told by many people that this is a natural talent I possess. I believe that all children learn differently and at different levels and as a teacher, you need to recongize that and adapt your lessons to your students so they can achieve. For social studies, most student think that class is all about taking notes and reading from the book but I put a twist on all of my lessons. I do a lot of group projects, I have the students do presentations for each other on the material and also reanacts of big events to help the students understand what really happened with that specific event and how it impacted history.
