Tutoring differs from teaching in that "style" is replaced by method. Some of the methods I have used in the past are rhythm and music, neumonic devices, and of course, drill and practice. I have been told that I am gifted with presenting material in novel ways.

I completed the alternate route requirements to gain my certification in Elementary Teacher. I taught Kindergarten and Sencond grade. I educated students with and without emotional impairments academic, social and motor skills. Planned curriculum and prepared lessons to meet individual needs of students while following curriculum guidelines and requirements of state and school. Conference with parents, administrators, testing specialists, social workers and other to develop individual educational plan for student. I learn the appropiate way to aide a student in their studies by observing their technique of solving a problem and helping them explore the problem. I show students how to break down the problem in various ways to help them better understand it. I believe that every child has a different manner of obtaining and learning information and it is the instructor's duty to identify each student's learning style and to teach accordingly. Think of a key ring with all sorts of different keys on the ring. As a teacher you must try one key on the key chain at a time. Sometimes the first key will open the door to a child's success and other times it could be the fifth or seventh key.
