I'm a 2009 graduate of the University of Alabama at Birmingham. I attained my degree is Paychology. I wish to pursue my master degree in community counseling. I love working with children. In high school I tutored kids in math, reading, and science at the YMCA in their after school program. While at UAB I gained skills in writing research papers and doing lab work. I also worked with Camp Fire USA in their Links-up Mentoring program. I love working with kids, that's why I got into Psychology. I believed that any child can succeed if they are just giving the opportunity and the help they need to make it and I want to be that person. I'm very outgoing, kind, and patient. With a degree in elementary education, I have been successful teaching and tutoring young children. I am especially proficient in teaching reading and have learned several different approaches to evaluate and direct students in their learning.
