I have been a tutor since high school. In HS I tutored for ESL (English as a Second Language). More recently I have been a Math tutor at Augsburg College. I am proficient in the subjects ranging from pre-algebra to calculus 3. I am pretty good with statistics and logic (Discrete Math) as well. I also have experience teaching younger children as well. I believe that each child has their own special style of learning in which they succeed the best at. When I tutor students I take the time to get to know each student on an individual basis and as a unique person. I make it a priority to determine their learning style and use that to implement a plan. I try and understand the reason they are having problems in their studies and then execute a plan in which they can succeed.
