A Little Bit About Me...

I have been working with a wide variety of students in the past two years from elementary to college level. I have seen and learned that each student is different and cannot work with just one style. I adapt to each student differently and we both learn how to approach problem that will make sense for the student. I have learned that determination, smart work, and repetition are not related to one another but each require special attention when working with a problem.
While achieving my Associates in Physics at South Texas College, I worked as a tutor in the Rio Grande Valley Area of South Texas. A Little Bit About Me...

I believe all children have their own pace and develop their own learning styles in which they are able to comprehend the knowledge that is being taught to them. Teaching Science I learned that by observing and working hands-on with experiments children really get involved with the process and in the outcome learn from the experience. I believe by letting students experience education they are more involved in their education and want to learn.
Since my graduation from Southeaster Oklahoma State University I substituted on all grade levels from pre-k to 12th grade for 2 years. I long-term substituted first grade from January to May of 2008 and 5th grade from April to May of 2007. I also taught 5th grade Science for the school year of 2008-2009.
