My very first year of teaching was at the Lehigh Valley Performing Arts High School, and I also taught for two years at Northern Lehigh High School. After finishing student teaching, getting certified to teach in Pennsylvania, and graduating from Moravian College, I joined Teach for America and committed two years to closing the achievement gap. I have taught 10th and 11th grade English for two years in Forrest City, AR. I have run after-school ACT prep sessions with my students, and I have worked one on one with them both before and after school hours.
