I attempt to teach various topics in a manner that is easiest to understand, with one on one tutoring, I can adapt my style and methods to the individual student to maximize they're understanding.
I've tutored various classmates and students in lower level math classes while in college. I've assisted children while a counselor at a summer science camp. I have worked for over ten years in the non-profit sector teaching basic office skills to difficult learners. I have a lot of experience teaching the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook) in an office/work environment. Additionally, one of my primary responsibilities was to train new employees on how to create and update reports using Microsoft Excel. As a result, I have a lot of experience teaching individuals and groups at different skill levels.
One of the keys to my success is that I always find a way to make the material relevant to the student. I like to utilize information and/or topics that they provide as the basis of the lessons I provide.
