I have been involved in a lot of activities and feel the best way to teach is to relate to the student. As a tutor, I have worked with many different types of students and I found a way to relate the information to something they were interested in. I believe all students are capable of learning the material; it just has to be presented in a way they understand. I received my BS degree in 2007 in pre-medicine. I majored in pre-professional zoology and I have a minor in biochemistry. I also worked at the Talent Development Center as a tutor for biology, botany, chemistry and biochemistry. I have a strong background in all science courses and maintained a 3.87 GPA throughout college.

I have been in some aspect of education for over 21 years. My experience includes tutoring math and science for Talent Search in 1990, teaching biology, chemistry, physics, physical science, applied math 2, principles of technology I & II, algebra I workshop, general science, life science, earth science and environmental science to grades 7-12 the past 18 years, physical science on a college level, and currently tutor 8-12 grades in science and teach intro to chemistry and environmental science on a college level. I have earned a BS in Chemistry and a minor in Math. I am currently working as a chemist, so I have kept up with all the new studies that are taking place right now. I have tutored all through High School, College and thereafter. I have a real passion for learning math, all sciences, and history. I hope I can pass this respect for these studies on to everyone I teach. I believe we all learn in different ways, and I am always open minded in finding the best way for that student I am working with at that time.
