My name is Maria Sedrak. I am a Material Sciences Engineer. I spent my college years teaching Piano to kids starting from 4 years old to married couples. I also were a Junior TA in the Physics Department back in my University for two consecutive semesters. I also freelanced at giving Mathematics classes to middle school students. I also performed in front of a large crowd multiple times making me able to interact greatly with people.
I like to simplify whatever problem the student is facing in order for him/her to be able to independently solve it. I always like to remind them that nothing is hard, it is just how they are looking at the problem and organize their thoughts. English ESOL is one of my top subjects! In 2012 I received my TEFL certification from the International TEFL Academy. Since that time I have been teaching English as a second language in Costa Rica with two language institutes. I have experience with all levels of English proficiency. My Bachelor's degree is in Speech-Language Pathology, making my specialty teaching English pronunciation and conversation.
