I have experience tutoring age 8-12 reading, science, and math for a child with a learning disability. After spending summers being tutored by me, the child I worked with made the honor roll. If you are not willing to learn the material, I cannot help you. I will ask questions about your personal learning preferences before we begin(auditory, visual, hands-on, etc.). Lesson-planning will be made according to how you want to learn whether or not it is reinforcement or new material.
I have had a lot of past experience when it comes to tutoring. I have tutored many people of various ages from children all the way to college students, relatively. Nothing is better than seeing a huge smile on a child's face once they cath on to something. I love helping children learn by doing a lot of visual activities and practicing! I was always the only person who could help my younger sister study for tests because she said my teaching techinique is very helpful and makes her remember things.
