I am an energetic and highly dedicated person. I am an advocate for constructivism, so I plan on creating an environment where my role is facilitating, challenging, and nurturing your student's learning. Students learn best when they seek information and are engaged, so I plan on accomplishing both by providing interesting lessons in a variety of ways. My personality is very flexible and open to trying new things. I hope to collaborate with the student and their parents and teachers, experiment with new ideas, and strive constantly to improve the student's learning.

I enjoy working with students of all ages and needs. I have worked with children in our public schools, as well as with autistic children in their homes. I have learned that patience and praise are major tools in teaching, enabling students to experience success and confidence in their education.
I tutored online for AOL for ten years. This included all grades, with emphasis in the science and music fields. I also edited articles for their knowledge database. Editing involved examining articles, making sure that each one was clear, concise, and free of mistakes. I wrote many articles for the database, as well, in several different areas of study.
