This is my ninth year of teaching. I taught second grade for three years and in my sixth year of special education. I hold a masters degree form GVSU in Eduational Leadership. I have obtained my GED and have always had straight As in high school. I'm also familiar with construction and building skills. I am a visual learner and will do my best to make the teaching fun. I have also obtained 13 college credits from Kalamazoo valley central college. The 13 credits that I have obtained are in computer skills. The computer skills that I have obtained are those for knowing and understanding how to use Microsoft word and all other programs associated with it. I like to have a fun open minded discussion. I have been a certified special education teacher for 10 years. I have had the fortune to teach in various environments in a handful of different states. I have taught elementary students for a majority of my career, but have also managed to squeeze in high school and middle students for three years. I have been tutoring elementary age students since my senior year of high school. My focus in college was teaching elementary age students and students with special needs.
