I have taught as a Teaching Associate at the University of Florida since 2006, when I was admitted to candidacy. Before that I taught as a Teaching Assistant at U.F. I met one-on-one with students throughout this experience to advise or tutor them when extra help was needed. I also taught at the middle and high school levels (history, art, and drama), so I am experienced in assisting students from age 12 through adulthood.

A Little Bit About Me...

I graduated from Davidson College with a major in economics, which has enabled me to gain an understanding of both math and social science. I tutored during my junior and senior years in North Carolina and I've also done private tutoring in Gainesville. In addition, I coached 4-12 year olds how to swim. If I can teach 4 year olds who are screaming and kicking how to swim I can teach someone math or ecnomoics.
I really enjoy teaching all ages. From my background in coaching young children how to swim I've become well adjusted to dealing with difficult situatioins in a learning environment. However, I always want to provide my students with the best learning environment possible.
