Having graduated with a degree in mathematics and extensive work in engineering, I was positioned me for pursuits along technical and analytical exercises while bringing in insight beyond the rigidity of science alone. It is very important to assess what the student already knows and the level of understanding they hold at the beginning. It is also important to make sure that what they know is correct and that they are not confused or misunderstanding the material. After which, getting to know the individual style of learning for each student will insure that time is used efficiently and that the student is understanding and retaining the material being taught.
