I attended Thomas More College on an academic scholarship and graduated with honors in the spring of 2011 with a BA in Environmental Science. Presently, I am pursuing a Master of Biology degree at the University of Cincinnati, where I hold a University Graduate Scholarship as well as a Yates Scholarship. I worked as a private tutor from 2006 through 2011, and in 2008 and 2009 I also tutored through Thomas More College. Currently, I am an instructor for undergraduate biology labs at the University of Cincinnati.
I have worked with elementary, high school, and college-aged students, providing instruction in subjects ranging from English to biology. I am comfortable teaching a group, but I also have ample experience working one-on-one with students. I believe that course material should engage students. A Little Bit About Me...

I am a French native speaker. I gave private tutoring lessons at the University Language Center to adults and their families as well as students preparing for the Graduate Proficiency Test (GPT) at the University of Minnesota. I was committing 2 to 3 hours a week of ESL, math and science tutoring junior high students from immigrant family background at Abraham Lincoln High School. My dedication made me noticed and recognized by the principal of the school which allowed me to work as an ESL teacher in the summer of 2004. In all my tutoring experience I have been extremely successful, in getting my students to pass the GPT, in achieving goals for the adults and their families, as well as for the kids from minority communities.
