If a child feels as though they are in an atmosphere where they are safe, free of ridicule and bias, then they are willing to perform. This process can be a give take scenario however. When I was in the classroom I prided myself in "getting the educational job" done while at the same time having some fun. I have always had a strong rapport with students and believe I am adept at transferring my knowledge and educational talents. I consider myself to be a strong motivator without being overbearing.
I started my college education at Stanford University but finished up Cal State Stanislaus University with a degree in physical education and biology.
