Spanish is one of my top subjects! I am originally from Chile and have lived here the majority of my life. I took English as a Second Language classes after being here for 4 years, so I could perfect my English. I speak Spanish fluently, it is my native language.

I am from Chile, so I speak Spanish as my native language. After being here for a few years I decided to take ESL classes to perfect my English, where I learned many things about teaching a second language to someone. After being taught how to speak another language, mainly from immersion, I have learned many extremely useful techniques to help students learn Spanish.
I like to start out with the basics and work on individual words, nouns, verbs as well as working on common phrases. Then we will progress into the more advanced aspects of the language. I'm very easy going and easy to get along with. I love to teach and to help.

I have taught three years of Kindergarten, numerous years in Preschool and also substitute teaching grades PreK - 8th. I am a recent graduate of kennesaw State University, with a Bachelor's Degree in Biology. I believe that I am competent in various areas of biology and chemistry, and will be able to convey that competence. I have taught and tutored at my church and in other volunteer programs since high school. I also currently give drum lessons at a Stephen's Music Company.
I always find myself trying to lead others to figure out material on their own as a I set guidelines for them as they do so. I believe this is the best way for them to learn the material. I do not like to tell my students the answers, inhibiting them from thinking things through. I try to find different ways of teaching material in order to keep them motivated, as well.
