I love working with children and adults, and I have taught all types of students from very different backgrounds. I understand that each person has a different way of learning and understanding. It is important to teach each individual in the way she or he best receives the material. I attribute much of my success in teaching with the fact that I make learning fun and interesting rather a burden. As a life long athlete, I understand the importance of a team. Parents, tutors, and children must work together to succeed. I also realize the importance of strategy; each team has a different method to achieve their goal. Be it verbal, visual, audial, physical, there are multitudes of different ways to have success inside and outside of the classroom. My personal success would be to teach the children HOW to study through tutoring, a strategy they could take with them throughout their academic and professional careers.
