I have extensive teaching experience, not only in the classroom, but I have been a theatre director for twenty years, as well as a soccer coach. As a graduate student at the University of Idaho, I taught three years of various theatre classes. I spent the 2008-09 school year replacing the head of the theatre department at Centralia College in Centralia, WA. I have also taught at North Idaho College in Coeur d'Alene, ID, and spent a year as a substitute teacher in the Coeur d'Alene School District #271. I firmly believe that a good education must be adaptable, flexible, and incorporate a variety of learning styles if it is to be of maximum benefit to students. When teaching, I speak with my students about the kinds of activities they feel assist them most in retaining information as well as observing their learning style independently.
