Deep in the heart of Texas, I earned my English degree at a small college. I was only 21 years old and intimidated by the classroom, so instead of teaching, I entered the workforce. I attended a preparatory school in Junior High and High School. I then went on to Mississippi College where I obtained a Bachelor degree in Home Economics with an emphysis on Fashion Merchandising. When I became a mom, I decided to home school my kids so that I could take an active part in their education and I could guide them in ways that someone else might not find interesting or important.
