My comments on tutoring Poetry : Have wide experience in poetry and have published a couple of personal poems in small literary presses.

I have been a special education teacher in the Apache Junction Unified School District since August 2008 where I began as an inclusion teacher at Thunder Mountain Middle School as an emergency certified special education teacher. In order to maintain my job, I got my master's degree in Cross-Categorical Special Education. With writing skills, I prefer small groups. This makes it more productive for the learners. I teach with many visual examples and I involve the students in the learning process by helping them to realize their own weaknesses. I believe that students do not know what they are doing wrong unless I shows them along the way. Constructive criticism is integral to the process. I believe that quality trumps quantity. It is better for a student to fully understand the idea even if it means covering less material. One well-written paper is better than five papers that have the same mistakes in them. Studying one Shakespearean play in detail is better than glossing over five in order to say that I covered many plays with the students.
