I love to teach. I have experience with 5-50 years old and, if pressed, could not name a favorite group. I believe that everyone can learn; some of us just process information in different ways. As a tutor it is my job to discover how a student processes information and adapt my lesson to accommodate them. Learning can be both fun and serious, as long as it is productive.
As part of my lifelong love of learning and teaching, I began tutoring when I was just fourteen years old. While in high school, I usually tutored math (mostly algebra, geometry, and trigonometry) and general science. I have worked as a media and communications professional for the past ten years, as well as a substitute teacher for two years. I am a member of the Screen Actors Guild Foundation for Literacy and a published author who believes very strongly in the importance of comprehension and demonstration of written and verbal skills as well as mathematical skills.
