I graduated with a BA in mathematics from Metropolitan State College of Denver. I also hold a minor in Reading and the equivalent of a minor in secondary education. Math teaches logical thinking and I have ultimately loved this aspect about the subject! My reading minor also taught writing techniques though it was being an avid writer myself that allowed me to teach how to write a paper in 30 seconds or less that causes students to write a full page or more in 30 minutes or less. During my field internship I was published in an education journal twice. I taught a full school year in a private school before I finished my degree. I was once involved in an adult education program with Intel Corporation in Rio Rancho and instrued courses in Mathematics including probability and statistics.
