My comments on tutoring Microsoft Access : TMCC and UNR student project assistance

I began my software training career in May 2000. With eight years of classroom, and small group based training, the remaining years have been primarily one-on-one tutoring. I currently teach at UNR Extended Studies and Washoe County Admin. A Little Bit About Me...

Math has always been an achievement of mine. I went to school and started out for an engineering degree, completing all the math including hard calculus. When I got to the university level I thought a business degree would be better as it is used in all types of businesses. So on top of taking hard calc, I took business calc, accounting, finance, and economics classes which all focus on math.
I have no real teaching style as I have never really taught anyone. I have always helped friends out while we were in school together and I would just have to figure out at what level of knowledge they were having a hard time understanding and start to help them understand what was going on from that point on.
