My comments on tutoring SQL : Currently, I work as a ETL/Data Analyst. The role entails handling large amounts of data using various softwares. SQL is one of them which I use for querying, building functions, procedures and triggers and so on.
I involve students a lot during the learning period. I consistently ask them questions about the topic and let them think for a while. I give them as much information as possible so that they do not miss any information while solving problems. I make students write. That is how they learn. I consistently give students concepts and them demonstrate with sample questions.
Holding a Bachelors of Science degree in Mathematics and Economics, I have knowledge of both Mathematics and its application to Economics as well as other real world situations.
