In 2006 I began working for the American English Institute as a tutor to university students studying English as a Foreign Language. In 2007 I gained employment with the Eugene, OR school district as a Classified Substitute where I fulfilled a variety of positions; mostly working with IEP students or assisting in Learning Resource Centers. In 2008 I graduated from the University of Oregon with a BA in Chinese and a minor in Asian Studies. In July of 2009 I had the opportunity to travel to Indonesia as an ESL teacher through English First. I lived and worked in Indonesia for one year teaching English grammar, writing style, reading, speech, listening, and business culture to students ranging in age from 3 years old to business professionals.

A Little Bit About Me...

My teaching style is to assess each person's learning style and build my lessons around their individual style. Some people are more visual others are more hands on. I tailor my lessons and assistance to their individual needs.
I have significant work experience as a controller for a large manufacturer with over 500 employees and $75 million in revenue. In addition I have experience as a CFO for a non profit with 30 employees. I have tutored numerous MBA students in accounting, finance, and management courses.
