I am a recent high school graduate. I graduated in the top fourth of my class. My GPA is a 3.48. My best subject is math. I enjoy helping and working with others to help them succeed. I completed a class in high school named Teach Cadet where I learned the basics about education and the importance of being a versatile teacher. I was able to work with children from head start to elementary level. I also was a member of two organizations at school where I worked with sixth graders about the importance of goals and worked with fourth graders about the importance of team work.
I try to adapt to the way the student prefers. I understand that there are various ways people obtain and grasp knowledge.

A Little Bit About Me...

I have taken 18 hours of Math courses including Algebra, Calculus, Business Mathematics and Math Analysis. I have my undergraduate degree in Accounting and an MBA in Accounting. I have worked as a Substitute Teacher at the Elementary, Middle and High School levels. I have written numerous research papers and business report. I have worked in the Auditing area professionally for over 10 years.
I have taken an Effective Teaching class at our local Community College. We learn all types of techniques for helping students to learn. Some students learns by hands on applications others through repetition. Still each person is unique and I believe all students can learn. I have recently graduated from Virginia Tech where I majored in Biological Sciences. This included biology, physics, and chemistry as focus points. My tutoring experience has been volunteer work. Throughout my academic career I have always helped others, from explaining difficult concepts to peer reviewing papers in college.
