I have tutored children in reading last summer. It was one of the most gratifying things I have done. I worked with English as second language children ranging from ages 5 to 13. We used a lesson plan and several activities to help children in achieving their reading level goals. Also, in my undergrad experience, I excelled in writing and was very good with meeting deadlines. I am a very down to earth person especially when it comes to kids. I always try to lighten up the mood and make learning things interesting and fun. My teaching style is very unique. I start off by just getting to know the student and having them get to know and trust me.
