Very relaxed and encouraging. I use quite a bit of discussion, and I like to ask students questions that lead them down the path to help them discover the answers they seek. I have found that information is better retained if one can guide the student to the conclusion that they seek, building upon the knowledge that is already there. I have Accounting, Finance, and Economics degrees or designations of emphasis as part of my educational resume. Earning those degrees takes quite a bit of mathematical and analytical knowledge and skill. I went into these degree areas because they not only met one of many areas of interest to me but I also perceived they were perhaps more useful.
