I am an excellent student and have a full knowledge of accounting and math that can be applied in the classroom as well as a "real world" experience. In addition to supervising and training other employees within my employers accounting department, I have also had the privilege of being in charge of staffing an intern who complimented me frequently on my competence and ability to instruct in a professional manner that was easily understood and easy to follow. I really enjoy ideas. One of my favorite things is to see someone make a connection for the first time between two ideas or concepts. I enjoy teaching through dialogue and conversation. I have a gift, I'm told, for analogies, and for explaining things in ways that enable people to understand new or complex ideas. A Little Bit About Me...

I worked as the department tutor for a first semester calculus based physics course at my university. I also graded undergraduate physics homework for second semester calculus based physics. Throughout my undergraduate education, I worked as a research during the summer and post graduation, I spent continued school for a year as a graduate student. Then I took a year off to see the world as a consultant. Now I'm planning on going back to school full time in the fall for electrical engineering and am currently getting taking a few courses part time to prepare me for the return.

When I was in school, I could always understand or figure out what the teacher was trying to get across. Some students, however, didn’t always understand what was being explained. I was the kid who would rephrase the teacher’s remarks and explain it again in a way that the other students could understand. Not all students understand things in the same way. I try to find a way to explain things so the material is more interesting and less frustrating than it is when the teacher explains it. I love the “ah-hah moments” when you realize the student just got it. I am easy going; and kids have an easy time talking with me.
