I have mentored various people since 2000, in all types of subjects, including math, science, social sciences, English, writing, literature, and other related subjects. I like to use the Socratic method, mainly by asking questions and challenging assumptions. As a graduate from UNC Charlotte, I was blessed with the opportunity to earn a B.A. in English, as well as a professional certification in techncial writing and editing, which has afforded me both knowledge and experience in both journalism and technical media. As a fellow during my graduate work at Indiana University, I taught undergraduate courses focused on helping students improve their written and oral communication skills. I ask a lot of questions to get the students thinking. I believe in teaching young people and the adults I have worked with to think critically fist. A Little Bit About Me...

Teaching can be a very powerful tool used when dealing with kids. Kids are a very delicate case when administering new information that they are needed to process/learn. My goal is to make that as less-painful as possible and to make it a enjoyable experience also.
