It has been my experience that most students appreciate an opportunity to sit quietly and think carefully over a problem. Time for a short burst of creative and intense scrutiny is a rare luxury for most of my highly-stimulated students. My philosophy is that learning is a student's job and they should give that job the attention it deserves.
