I have a degree in Middle School Education that allows me to teach Language Arts and Social Studies, and have a Master's degree in English which allows me to teach at the high school and community college level. I have taught middle school in the public and private arena ( I wrote the curriculum and self-analysis for the private school's accreditation). I was a long term and short term substitute in all areas and grades for more than 10 years, and have been a tutor in a variety of subjects since college.
I have a laid back, yet no nonsense style of teaching that I believe works with most students. I am a certified Elementary teachers with a 6-8 Mathematics certification. I taught 4 years of middle school math and them moved in to teaching pre-engineering. After teaching pre-engineering I became a Technology Facilitator in a North Carolina Middle School. I have recently relocated to North Palm Beach Florida and am looking for a full-time teaching position.
