I have always thought of myself as a progressive teacher. I always thought children could learn to do anything they were asked to do. I always loved learning and felt it was my obligation to instill the same in all my students, no matter what age. Besides my formal education, I have helped many people while working for Disabled Student Services at Florida Community College at Jacksonville. I helped my blind boss understand the needs of her deaf students. I helped a disabled boy with Algebra and I helped my mom with her math when she went back to college. I enjoy helping younger and older people alike. I like to get to know the person with whom I am working so I can find the best style for that person. Whether it is visual, auditory or kinetic. I find the way that person learns and then I help them on their level.
