I am a licenced Chiropractor in practice for over 26 years. Before Chiropractic college I attended the University of West Florida stopping 5 hours short of acquiring my BS in Biology. While attending Chiropractic college I tutored Organic Chemistry at the local community college. 80% of my daily work activity is in educating my patients about how the body works both physically and chemically. I perform several in office chemical tests and have had extensive courses in Chemistry and Biology.
I understand the uniqueness of each individual and the need to approach and present material in a manner that creates interest yet imparts understanding of the course objectives. While one student may be able to memorize and understand facts one way, say by repetition, another student may learn the information by understanding the background and context that it comes from.
