I have been teaching science at the secondary level for over 17 years. I have taught chemistry and advanced chemistry, Earth science which includes "GOMA" Geology, Oceanography, Meteorology and Astronomy. A Little Bit About Me...

I typically try to match my teaching style to meet the needs of the particular student(s). I am familiar with many different approaches to teach literacy and math, including some exposure to occupational therapy, emotionally impaired, and LD appoaches to meet certain needs of some students. I enjoy children and helping them reach their potential.
As a Title I Para Educator I am responsible for working with students who need extra support in core academic areas. A Little Bit About Me...

I create a positive atmosphere and help students to be responsible first to themselves and then to their community. I also try to make my students aware of their potiential and guide them in processing information by first understanding the context in which it is used. Then I like to use visuals in my teaching style. I prefer to start with testing of some kind to assess the developmental level of the student.
