I am a recent graduate of Johns Hopkins University, earning a BA in Public Health Studies. During my time at Johns Hopkins I interned in clinical research at the School of Medicine, where I served as research coordinator for a study in adolescent women's health within the department of pediatrics. My academic pursuits and experience in clinical research required solid writing skills and the ability to compose academic research papers, laboratory reports and grant proposals. As a graduate I have done tutoring to enhance my credibility to teach possibly in the future with my major in criminal justice. I'm currently enrolled for my Masters in criminal justice and criminology, and I plan to futher my education to teach within that field. During the last past 3 summers I have tutored young children as well as been a mentor to their studies. I enjoy working in this field of study, and plan to continue to do so.
As stated above I enjoy working with children of all ages, I have made a difference in their lives as well as them making a difference in my life. A Little Bit About Me...

I’ve always enjoyed teaching others, whether I was a kid tacking up my pony and giving informal riding lessons or leading fellow undergrad students through the forests surrounding Salisbury University’s field station. In the past two years, I have discovered a passion for children. I immensely enjoyed the summer I spent teaching riding lessons in Colorado and realized how much I wanted to continue with the education process when I returned to the Eastern Shore. As a substitute teacher, I have been able to explore the range of teaching methods and opportunities.
