A Little Bit About Me...

As a student at Kansas State University, I am currently enrolled in the Architectural Engineering degree and I am completing my last math class as of now. I believe I would be a great candidate for this position because I have recently taken the three calculus classes and now differential equations. Also, i have an extensive background in different fields of physics which broadens of the everyday use of math as well.

A Little Bit About Me...

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Kansas State, I was tasked not only with teaching mathematics in a classroom setting, but also in a more personal setting. Part of my duties included being available to briefly tutor students (ranging from basic math through Introductory Differential Equations) one on one in the Math Help Room.
Let's face it; most students do not want to be in a math class. As a teacher, it is my job to present the material in a way that will make students not want to tar and feather me out of boredom while simultaneously communicating the abstract ideas as clearly as possible. I have held informal teaching positions throughout my entire life. I have tutored everything from pre-algebra to Calculus to Piano. I'm currently employed as an after school tutor for middle school students, 6th grade to 8th, and independently tutor on Saturdays.
