A Little Bit About Me...

I have earned two degrees. At Georgia Southern University I recieved a B.S. in Nutrition/Food Sciences. While in Statesboro, ga completing my studies I served as an after school tutor for elementary students in the Bulluch County after school program. I recently graduated from Sanford Brown Institute in Atlanta, GA where I earned a degree in Diagnostic Ultrasound Technology. My ultimate goal is to be able to provide nutritional guidance to pregnant mothers in addition to being an ultrasound professional. I have a talent for oral and written communication. A Little Bit About Me...

Since my previous experience has been working with fairly non-traditional students, I would like to find a similar position. I have applied for several positions that have opened up in public schools and other agencies. I would like to see if I could work with younger children and adults and or with special needs students. Another area of interest would be teaching upper level mathematics and science courses in a small town school. I don't believe in an unteachable student. One of the greatest pleasures I have in teaching is having a breakthrough with a student that has had difficulty. I believe every student has the possibility to meet and exceed expectations with the right teacher! I believe that not every student is the same. The solution and teaching style that works well with one student may not work at all for another. Additionally, not every student learns things at the same rate.
