I believe that all children can learn but they don't all learn the same way. It is my job as the teacher to make the lessons interesting and present them in such a way that the student will understand what is being taught. I believe that students need to feel valued and successful and it is my job to help them achieve success in their education and to feel valued as people. I have enjoyed working with middle schoolers which is such a difficult time for so many trying to find where they "fit" in the world. I feel it is my duty to make them feel safe and secure in the setting I provide so they can learn.
