The most important thing about my teaching style is that I believe every child can achieve academic excellence and can be interested in learning. I believe that it is up to me, as a teacher or a tutor, to engage the student(s). A huge part of this is being very transparent about where the student starts, what our goals are for where they are going, and how they are doing along the way. I am a student at McNeese under Biochemistry. My major has required me to take math classes up to Calculus II - which I completed with an A grade. Calculus I I completed my senior year of high school at St. Louis Catholic. My experience as a tutor sparked when I decided to network myself as a private tutor, successfully starting with one student, whom I still tutor, and continuing with more as time progressed. I distributed my business cards to tutor. Anywhere from one to all subjects, I've tutored students in lower level Algebra to even improving detrimental learning disabilities.
