I first discovered my love for teaching in high school. I excelled in many areas and helped my fellow students learn. As I furthered my education, my passion for teaching grew and my style changed. My experience teaching began at California State University, Northridge during my time as an undergraduate. During that period I worked as an outreach tutor through the university's Education Equity Program tutoring struggling students at the middle school level in reading and rudimentary mathematics.
