I may back track and ensure they understand the basic foundation of the principle they are learning, then move forward one step at a time, as they grasp each concept. Many times, they must understand step one, to complete step two, etc. I love to see people succeed. My teaching style is very goal-oriented, yet flexible enough to accomodate a variety of methods. Some students learn best from lectures, other learn from visuals while some are much better at hands-on instruction and correlations/representations. Each student has boundless potential; it is up to a knowledgeable educator to help that student unlock their potential and soar.
