My teaching style is one of excitement and enthusiasm. I am passionate about the material I teach, and try to convey this excitement to my students without being annoying and over enthused. In the fields of physics and mathematics, I prefer to use analogies and easy to understand examples to help students learn specific principles and to help show them the big picture into which their hard work fits. A Little Bit About Me...

I've always known that I wanted to work with children and adolescents. Prior to college, I was chosen to enroll in a course that helps those desiring to work in education or any filed working with young people. Also, I worked as a Substitute teacher and Paraprofessional Teacher for a special needs classroom over the course of a school year; which include the areas of reading, mathematics, science, and language arts. I received my Bachelor's of Science degree in Child and Adolescent Psychology with a minor in Sociology in May of 2009, and I am currently working on my Master's of Counseling. Lastly, I am employed (currently) as a Resident Assistant, where I get to oversee and mentor approximately 70 girl residents.
